Preben Saxild's fragmented compositions incorporate a wide variety of source materials ranging from printed advertisements, vintage postal stamps, found photographs and cropped details from contemporary art journals. Often over-layed with black or red drip painted motifs, these self-referential collages investigate and satirise contemporary consumer culture.
